ECOS - Education and Career Opportunity System

ECOS is an Education and Career Opportunity System that is linked to COMPASS Guide.

ECOS has comprehensive career and college information and it's FREE for you to use if you are a Milwaukee resident.

ECOS allows you to:

• Create your own "Virtual Locker" to save all of your career, college and scholarship information in ONE place. Your locker is available on the internet with your personal login and password. You don't have to remember the addresses of several websites.
• Find information on more than 5,500 colleges (2-year and 4-year schools).
• Explore more than 1,000 career profiles.
• Search more than 7,000 national scholarships and 600 local scholarships.

To use ECOS, you must "create a new student account" by following these steps:

1. Go to http://ecos.princetonreview.com
   
   and click on the picture of the student.
2. Click on "Create an Account."
3. If asked for a member code, enter this MEMBER CODE: 53201
4. Enter your name and other information.
5. Think about and choose a unique User ID and Password. (Try your nickname or school id!)
6. Follow the directions and begin exploring career, college and scholarship opportunities.
7. Help is available at Milwaukee Public Libraries. COMPASS Guide Coaches are located at libraries after school and on Saturdays to provide assistance. To view the Coaching Calendar click here.
