This report draws on recent surveys of three cohorts of students in eight states to examine
the extent of student participation in career-focused educational activities and the potential value
of those activities. These findings suggest that some students may benefit from career-related activities in high school but that many uncertainties remain. Still not known are what career-focused activities, if any, really help students choose better postsecondary education and jobs. A set of observations and recommendations conclude the report. |
