The Lake Michigan Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP) was developed as a result of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement 1987 amendment. The Lake Michigan LaMP began in the early 1990's. The purpose of LaMP 2002 is to provide an executive summary of the status of the Lake Michigan ecosystem, report the status of the 2000 goals, comment on current pollution reducing plans, and offer recommendatons that LaMP should address in the future.
