This report on health insurance coverage is based on information from the 2002 Wisconsin Family Health

Survey.The majority of Wisconsin household residents were covered by health insurance for an entire year,based on findings of the 2002 Wisconsin Family Health Survey. Eighty-nine percent of Wisconsin

residents had insurance for all 12 months prior to the survey interview, 7 percent had insurance for

some of the past 12 months, and 4 percent had no insurance coverage at all during the past 12 months.
