This report is the largest and most comprehensive survey on the adult homeless population in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Continuum of Care Homeless Coalition conceived the ideas for this survey with the purpose of providing a snapshot of homelessness in the City of Milwaukee. The results of the survey could be used to guide a community wide strategic planning process with the aim of ending homelessness. This report provides a glimpse of Milwaukee's homeless population with information on 761 homeless adults including data on: reasons for homelessness, source of income, education levels, employment status, demographic profile of homeless, temporarily versus chronic homeless, and medical needs.
