This report presents the results of a comprehensive research project on homeless families from ten diverse cities across the country. The ten cities included in this report are: Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; New York, New York; Norman, Oklahoma; Salem and Eugene, Oregon; San Antonio, Texas; San Francisco, California; and South Bend, Indiana.

This report provides information on each of the ten cities and compares information with national data. A demographic profile of a homeless family including: race/ethnicity, education level, employment, median income, number of children, gender, and reasons for homelessness.

The utimate goal of this report is to provide information and data on diverse cities across the US, so they can develop strategies and priorities to fight homelessness.
