The Wisconsin Minority Health Report outlines the disparities between the different ethnic and racial communities that exist in our state. The report goes into specific detail concerning the rates of occurance and treatment of mental health conditions, such as depression, between these groups. The results are distressing. American Indians have the highest rate of sucide, followed by blacks. Suicide rates among these groups are on the rise.
