This study tracks income trends among food stamp households with children and reveals that, despite the dramatic decline in Wisconsin’s cash assistance caseloads, Wisconsin has not seen a commensurate decline in poverty. The study also shows a substantial increase in the number of households with incomes less than 50 percent of the poverty level.
