The Rideshare in Wisconsin: Citizen Perceptions and Utilizations Potential study examines knowledge levels of rideshare services, perceptions of rideshare alternatives and factors that may influence participation rates of rideshare programs of some 500 Southeastern Wisconsin residents. Some of the major findings of the study include 47 percent of the respondents indicated that they had previously heard about the Southeastern Wisconsin Rideshare Program (SWRP) and that only 15 percent of the respondents currently employed presently participate in Rideshare Programs. Additionally, the study offers several recommendations for the Southeastern Wisconsin Rideshare Program (SWRP), such as initiating an education campaign to inform the public of the various benefits connected with Rideshare services.
