Assessments

An ENTECH Technology Assessment seeks to provide an unbiased review of an organization's technology needs. A comprehensive, independent assessment is the first step in the development of a technology plan.
The Process:

Technology assessments begin with the ENTECH Assessment Tool. The recipient organization is asked to complete this comprehensive survey to the best of their ability. This information is returned to ENTECH at least 1 business day before the interview.

The Interview brings the Executive Director and people responsible for technology at the nonprofit together with ENTECH. This meeting typically lasts 2-3 hours where key questions are answered and information on the assessment tool is verified.

ENTECH then begin to research appropriate solutions and compile recommendations into a report. This phase takes typically 10-15 business days.

The Product:

A report is produced and sent back to the organization. The report contains many detailed recommendations in each of the assessment coverage areas. Every recommendation will contain the following three key elements in plain language:

  1. WHAT we recommend. In one concise statement, we detail the action your organization should take.
  2. WHY we recommend it. ENTECH will explain our motivations behind the recommendation in terms of your organization's mission and overall goals.
  3. HOW to do it. We will show you the first steps to begin the process of implementing the recommendation. This may be an attachment to the report, a diagram or an Internet resource.

It's well worth it! Get your technology on track with the ENTECH Technology Assessment Service.
